PromptLAB Image to Prompt Generator
Upload a reference image and generate a structured AI image prompt with subject, lighting, style, mood, and composition details using QWEN3-VL.
- Analyze reference images before generating prompt language.
- Structure prompts around subject, lighting, mood, style, and composition.
- Use generated prompts with Z-Image, Krea2 Turbo, and other image models.
- Speed up visual direction when the image idea is clear but wording is not.
What PromptLAB returns
Upload a reference image and PromptLAB uses a vision-language model (QWEN3-VL) to describe what it sees as prompt text: the subject and clothing, the pose and framing, the lighting, the style and the mood. The output is a starting point written in the vocabulary image models respond to, not a copy of the picture.
Because the model describes the image rather than reproducing it, expect to edit the result. Remove details you do not want, add the ones the description missed, and keep a short prompt for the first test.
A workflow that works
Upload one clear reference with a single main subject, read the prompt, trim it to the parts that matter, and paste it into Z-Image Turbo or Krea2 Turbo. Change one element at a time (lighting, lens, outfit) so you can tell which edit caused a difference.
Photos with several people, heavy text or very busy backgrounds give vaguer descriptions. Cropping to the part you care about usually helps more than adding words.
Good to know
Only upload images you have the right to use, and avoid private photos of other people. For how uploads are handled, see the Privacy page; for prompt-writing examples that were tested end to end, browse the Articles section.
